Your Itinerary

1 Day 1 – Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple & Embarkation

Pickup from your hotel in Luxor. Your Nile cruise begins with Karnak Temple, the most spectacular temple complex in Egypt, dedicated to the Theban triad (Amun, Mut and Khonsu). Lunch in a local restaurant, followed by a visit to Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and completed by Tutankhamun and Ramses II. Dinner on board and overnight on the ship in Luxor.

2 Day 2 – Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple & Colossi of Memnon

Breakfast on board, then visit the West Bank: the Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of the New Kingdom pharaohs, the two 18-metre Colossi of Memnon and the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, set in terraces against the cliffs. Overnight on board.

3 Day 3 – Edfu Temple & Kom Ombo Temple

Sail to Edfu and visit the large, best-preserved temple of the falcon god Horus from the Ptolemaic era. Continue to Kom Ombo and visit the unusual double temple of the two gods Sobek and Haroeris. Dinner and overnight on board.

4 Day 4 – Philae Temple, High Dam & Unfinished Obelisk

Arrival in Aswan. Visit Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, the Aswan High Dam with its Lake Nasser reservoir, and the Unfinished Obelisk in the northern quarries – at 42 metres and 1,168 tons it would have been the heaviest stone monument in Egypt. Overnight on board.

5 Day 5 – Abu Simbel Temples & Disembarkation

Very early morning (around 03:00): drive in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to one of Egypt's most important monuments, the Abu Simbel temples (about 3 hours each way). Visit the great temple of Ramses II with its four colossal statues and the smaller temple of his wife Nefertari. Return to Aswan and disembarkation.
